Butterflies - Farfalle - तितलियाँ

Salvador, Brazil: We had just come out from a meeting in the health ministry when I saw these butterflies. I think that they are from Papilio family of butterflies (perhaps Papilio paeon?), a common species of butterflies in South America.

साल्वादोर, ब्राज़ीलः स्वस्थ्य मंत्रालय से मीटिंग के बाद बाहर निकले ही थे कि मंत्रालय के बाग में मुझे यह दो तितलियाँ दिखी, जो पापिलिओ जाति की लगती हैं और दक्षिण अमरीका में बहुत जगह पायी जाती हैं.

Salvador, Brasile: Eravamo appena usciti da una riunione presso il ministero della sanità quando ho viste queste farfalle. Penso che siano della famiglia Papilio (forse Papilio paeon?), una specie comune di farfalle in sud America.

Green sheet - Lenzuolo verde - हरी चादर

Hue, Vietnam: Water Hyacinth plant originally came from south America and has spread to all lakes and ponds in the world. हुए, वियतनामः जलकुंभी का पौधा दक्षिण अमरीका से आया है और सारे विश्व की झीलों तालाबों में फ़ैल गया. इसकी बहुत बुराई की जाती है कि पानी से आक्सीजन सोख लेता है, अन्य पौधे मर जाते हैं, पानी में मछलियाँ और कछुए मर जाते हैं, इत्यादि. लेकिन पिछले कुछ सालों से इसका प्रयोग प्रदूषित पानी को साफ़ करने में भी किया जाने लगा है और इसका खाद की तरह भी प्रयोग होता है. मुझे यह पानी पर बिछी हरी चादर जैसे लगते हैं और इसके पीली बिन्दी वाले हलके जामुनी रंग के फ़ूल मुझे मोर के पंख जैसे लगते हैं.

Si dice che sia un parasita, che assorbe tutto l'ossigeno, che fa morire i pesci e le tartarughe. Ma da alcuni anni, la si usa per pulire le acque inquinate e i contadini la usano come fertilizzante naturale. A me fa pensare ad un lenzuolo verde steso sull'acqua e i suoi fiori con puntini gialli sullo sfondo viola, fanno pensare alle ali dei pavoni.

Wen Shan, Yunnan, China: South of China has many indigenous tribal groups, that have got the possibility over the past couple of decades to wear their traditional dresses. I saw some rare men wearing the traditional dresses, mostly these were elderly women who wore them. Today's images present some examples of these traditional dresses.

Sono rari gli uomini che portano i vestiti tradizionali, e sono sopratutto le donne anziane che li portano. Le foto di oggi hanno alcuni esempi di questi vestiti tradizionali.

Salvador, Brazil: Huge roads, every thing so far away, and in between, never-ending bridges with tiny human beings. I don't know why they made me think of the childhood game, "Snakes and ladders", we used to play.

In Brasile ho visto dei fiori belli e strani che non avevo visto prima come questi fiori gialli con le creste bianche che mi facevano pensare ai gelati di mango.
