Its last scene, when the doctor Dada Moshai (Amitabh Bacchan) comes back to find his friend Anand (Rajesh Khanna) dead and breaks down, accidently touching the tape recorder, that starts and Anand's voice fills the room, "My lord, we are all puppets, our thread is in some one's hands who pulls all the strings, ..." is one of my favourites.
Todays pictures of the colourful puppets from the ethnic market in New delhi, "Dilli Haat" are a homage to Hrishikesh Mukherjee.
PS: Tomorrow morning I am leaving for holidays at the seaside in North Italy, so goodbye for two weeks.

ऐसे करुँगा, वैसा होगा, यही सब सोचते रहते हैं, फ़िर अचानक कुछ ऐसा हो जाता है जो एक क्षण के लिए इस कड़वे सच की याद दिला देता है. पर मानव मन बना ही कुछ ऐसा है कि जल्दी ही उसे भूल कर हम फ़िर से अपने हवाई किले बनाने में जुट जाते हैं.
आज की तस्वीरों में है दिल्ली की दिल्ली हाट की कठपुतलियाँ जो अपने रंगबिरंगे रुप से मन मोह लेती हैं.
कल सुबह छुट्टियों के लिए उत्तरी इटली के लिए रवाना होना है, इसलिए आप सब से दो सप्ताह के लिए अलविदा.
