Guwahati, Assam, India: Today start the celebrations of the Rongali Bihu festival. For the next 4-5 days, every where, there will be fun of dance and music. To share the joy of Bihu, I am presenting the traditional dress of the Assamese men that gives importance to the gamachha with red embroidery on white clothe and the handmade golden yellow Moga silk. In my opinion, the best thing about these traditions is that these are not artifical things made for the tourists but are the living traditions of the people, you go out on the road and you find people actually wearing these!
