Rome, Italy: This fountain is known as "barcaccia" or the sinking boat and is constructed on three levels - an outer round pond, a boat full of water in the middle and a central raised source of water. Built in 1629, this fountain gets its water from an ancient water canal running beneath it, that brings water from 75 km away.
रोम, इटलीः बारकाच्चा यानि डूबती नाव के नाम से जाना जाने वाला यह फुव्वहारा तीन स्तरों पर बना है - बाहर एक गोल ताल, उसके बीच में पानी सी भरी नाव और नाव के बीच में छोटा सा उठा हुआ जल सोत्र. 1629 में बने इस फुव्वारे का पानी एक प्राचीन नहर से आता है जो 75 किलोमीटर दूर से रोम शहर में पानी लाती है. (इस नाव की बात से याद आया कि मुझे आमीर खान के कार्यक्रम "सत्यमेव जयते" से एक गीत, "एक छोटी सी नाव है, ज़िन्दगी, ज़िन्दगी" बहुत अच्छा लगता है! कार्यक्रम तो अच्छा था ही, उसके सभी गीत आजकल के प्रचलित संगीत से भिन्न थे.)
Roma, Italia: Questa fontana conosciuta come barcaccia o una nave che affonda è costruita su tre livelli - una vaschetta rotonda esterna, la nave piena d'acqua e il fonte rialzato centrale da dove zampilla fuori l'acqua. Costruita nel 1629, la sua acqua viene da un antico acquedotto che passa sotto e che porta acqua dalla distanza di 75 km a Roma.

Deleteबादलों की वजह से दिन में ही कुछ अँधेरा सा हो रहा था, उस अँधेरे में फुव्वारे का नीला जल मुझे भी बहुत अच्छा लगता है

ReplyDeleteThanks Arti for this appreciation. Because of "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" book by Ricard Bach, seagulls are also among my favourite birds though I don't like their call, that sounds similar to that of crows! :)
