Mykonos, Greece: In the evening, before the sky turns red with the setting sun, there are some moments of magic, when it seems that everything has become still and the light spreads silver over the sea.

  7. Those windmills are strange. They don't have huge and heavy fans.
I am not sure but the patterns in water caught by your camera is called 'moire'. It's also apparent when someone wears a very fine striped fabric. I need to be more updated on it:)

    1. Even I had thought about those windmills. I think that they had some kind of fabric covering them originally, that helped them to move with wind. Now they are just for showing off.
Didn't know about 'moire' need to check it on google. Thanks for the info Nishant. :)

I think that ripples can be seen only with certain kind of light and wind ... I have seen this kind of effect much more in pond or lake waters
