Brazilian Orisha - Oriscia dal Brasile - ब्राज़ील के ओरिशा

बाहिया, ब्राज़ीलः अठारहवीं शताब्दी में, अमरीका महाद्वीप में मध्य अफ्रीका से लाये गये योरूबा जनजाति के गुलाम अपने साथ अपने देवी देवता और अपनी धार्मिक मान्यताएँ भी साथ ले कर आये. यह धार्मिक मान्यताएँ आज भी ब्राज़ील, क्यूबा, हाईती जैसे देशों में कन्दोम्बले, सानतेरिया, वूदुन जैसे नामों से जीवित हैं. ब्राज़ील में इन देवी देवताओं को ओरिशा कहते हैं. आज की तस्वीरों में ब्राज़ील से एक ओरिशा नृत्य.

Bahia, Brazil: In the eighteenth century Yoruban slaves from central Africa brought to the Americas, came with their gods and goddesses. These religions and their gods are still alive in countries like Brazil, Cuba and Haiti under different names such as Candomble, Santeria and Voodun.
