Trieste, Italy: With advent of Christianity around 2 thousand years ago, people stopped praying to old gods and godesses. Still the statues of those old gods didn't disappear, perhaps because they express ideas of beauty and deep emotions of human hearts.

त्रिएस्ते, इटलीः करीब दो हज़ार वर्ष पहले जब ईसाई धर्म आया तो इटली से पुराने देवी देवताओं की पूजा होनी बन्द हो गयी, लेकिन इनकी मूर्तियाँ बननी बन्द नहीं हुईं शायद चूँकि वे सुन्दरता तथा मानव मन में छुपी गहन भावनाओं को व्यक्त करती हैं.

Trieste, Italia: Con l'arrivo della cristianità circa 2 mila anni fa, in Italia non si prega più davanti alle statue di vecchi dei, ma le loro statue non si sono scomparse forse perché esprimono sentimenti di bellezza e di emozioni nascoste nel profondo umano.
