Putting on the grease-paint

Villa Angelini park, Bologna (Italy), June 2005: All the pictures are from the Par Tot summer festival. "Par Tot" in Bolognese language means "For all". The parade starts from the Villa Angelini park going through the main street, Via dell'Indipendenza to the central square, Piazza Maggiore.

It is a riot of colours and with people getting ready in the park. I like that particular moment of donning the grease paint, when you completely self-absorbed, focused on a part of your body, to give it the right touch! That is the moment, I tried to catch in these pictures.
