Assam, India: We had gone to that island in the river Brahmaputra with a boat clinic. He had just come out of the river, mud coating his face and chest. Why did you cover yourself with mud, I asked him many times, but he did not answer.

DeleteMud is often soothing on the bare skin as well as prevents flies and heals wounds. We used to put mud on our wound in the childhood days.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sabyasachi. I know that in Spas you have to pay lot of money for the mud packs! I was imagining something similar or that some traditional healer had told him to do it as a treatment, but he never said anything! However he did become more serious, and I had a feeling that he had taken my question as something negative about his appearance!

Figlio di Brahmputra is in Italian ?
