Ulaangom, Mongolia: The lion near the stupas in the Buddhist temple reminded me of the Egyptian sphinx that has the body of a lion and a human face. Egyptians call the sphinx "Abu al-haul" or "Fear's daddy". The Buddhist lion was not scary, rather, it was kind of cute. Remembering that beautiful journey in Ulaangom, I want to say hello to my Mongolian friends Tuki & Ebe, who are there in the 3rd image.
