Mongolian Children - Bambini Mongoli - मँगोलिया के बच्चे

मँगोलिया: मुझे बच्चों की तस्वीर खींचना बहुत अच्छा लगता है. इस एल्बम की अधिकतर तस्वीरें इन बच्चों के घरों के आसपास खींची जब हम लोगों से मिलने जाते थे. इस लिए तस्वीरें देखूँ तो बहुत सी बातें याद आ जाती हैं. पर इस एल्बम में मेरी सबसे प्रिय तस्वीरें बायन उल्गीई और उव्स के बीच में अचिंत झील की हैं, जहाँ अरकान और उसके छोटे भाई अरताई से मेरी दोस्ती हुई, वे दोनो मेरे विदेशी होने की वजह से मुझमें दिलचस्पी ले रहे थे, और हम लोग इशारों में बातें कर रहे थे. अरताई को फोटो खिंचवाना अच्छा लगता था और हर तस्वीर के बाद वह आ कर कैमरे में देखता कि कैसी आयी थी. पर फ़िर भी, उसकी तस्वीरों में बिल्कुल बनावटीपन नहीं लगता.

Mongolia: I love taking pictures of children. Most of the children in this album, were children I had the opportunity to know when I visited their homes. So when I look at these pictures, I remember other things about them and about that visit. My favourite pictures in this album are those taken at lake Achint at the Bayan Ulgii and Uvs border, when I made friends with Erkan and her younger brother, Ertai. They were both fascinated by my being a foreigner and we talked in gestures. Ertai loved posing for pictures, after every picture he would come to look at the display, and yet he was a complete natural, never looking artificial.

Mongolia: Amo scattare foto ai bambini. La maggior parte di bambini in queste foto sono quelli che avevo visitato nelle loro case e guardare le foto mi pensare ad altre emozioni legate a quelle visite. Le mie foto favorite in questo album sono quelle scattate al lago Achint, alla frontiera tra Bayan Ulgii e Uvs, dove avevo fatto amicizia con ERkan e suo fratello, Ertai. Entrambi era affascianti dal mio essere straniero e abbiamo parlato con i gesti. Ertai amva farsi fotografare e dopo ogni foto veniva da me per guardare sul display della macchina fotografica. Allo stesso momento era un naturale, non sembrava mai che posava.
