London, Britain: Waterloo place in London has statues of soldiers of Her Majesty from the time when the British flag dominated half the world. Each statue carries inscription about the glory of that person that gives you a sense of history. It is true that this is only the history of the winners and rulers, but then perhaps history is only for the winners?
