Beach dogs - Cani da spiaggia - सागरतट के कुत्ते

Bibione, Italy: After 19 years, for the first time we did not have our dog Brando with us during our holidays. Every time I went to the beach for a walk and saw other persons with their dogs, I missed Brando. Today's images have people and their black coloured dogs from the beach.

बिबिओने, इटलीः उन्नीस सालों के बाद पहली बार छुट्टियों में हमारे साथ हमारा कुत्ता ब्राँदो नहीं था. जब भी सागर तट पर सैर को जाता तथा अन्य लोगों को कुत्तों के साथ देखता तो ब्राँदो की कमी बहुत खलती. आज की तस्वीरों में सागर तट पर काले रंग के कुत्ते और उनके स्वामी.

Bibione, Italia: Dopo 19 anni, per la prima volta non avevamo il nostro cane Brando con noi durante le ferie. Tutte le volte che andavo sulla spiaggia per una passeggiata e vedevo gli altri con i loro cani, mi mancava Brando. Le immagini di oggi hanno le persone con i loro cani neri sulla spiaggia.

Fearing suffering - Paura del male - पीड़ा का डर

Vienna, Austria: In 1836, actor and drammatist Ferdinand Raimund was 46 years old when he was bitten by a dog. Afraid that the dog was rabid and he will die an atrocious and painful death, he had preferred to shoot and kill himself. The rabies vaccine was invented in 1885. Today's images have Ferdinand Raimund memorial from Vienna.

वियेना, ऑस्ट्रियाः सन् 1836 में अभिनेता व नाटककार फेरडिनान्ड रायमुन्ड 46 वर्ष के थे जब उन्हें कुत्ते ने काटा. उन्हें भय था कि वह कुत्ता पागल था और उनकी मृत्यू रेबिज़ की बीमारी से तड़प तड़प के होगी. जिससे उन्होंने स्वयं को गोली मार कर आत्महत्या करना बेहतर समझा. रेबीज़ की वेक्सीन का आविष्कार 1885 में हुआ था. आज की तस्वीरों में वियेना से फेरडिनान्ड रायमुन्ड स्मारक.

Vienna, Austria: Nel 1836, attore e drammaturgo Ferdinand Raimund aveva 46 anni quando fu morsicato da un cane. Avendo paura che il cane fosse rabbioso e della morte dolorosa che lo aspettava, lui aveva preferito spararsi e suicidare. Il vaccino contro la rabbia fu scoperto nel 1885. Le immagini di oggi hanno il memoriale dedicato a Ferdinand Raimund a Vienna.

Seaside evening - Sera al mare - सागर पर संध्या

Brussa, Bibione, Italy: Sometimes some places get linked to specific persons or events in our minds. Most of our holidays are spent in the seaside town of Bibione, to the north of Venice, and in my mind it is linked to our dog Brando. Two days ago Brando died. He was very old but still lived fully till his last day. In the images of today the seacoast from our holidays a few years ago and Brando enjoying himself roaming around.

ब्रुस्सा, बिबिओने, इटलीः कभी कभी कुछ जगहों की यादें हमारे दिलों में किसी व्यक्ति या बात से जुड़ जाती हैं. हमारी अधिकतर छुट्टियाँ वेनिस के उत्तर में सागरतट पर बसे बिबिओने में गुजरती रही हैं, जिसकी याद मेरे मन में हमारे कुत्ते ब्राँदो से जुड़ी हुई है. दो दिन पहले हमारा ब्राँदो नहीं रहा. बहुत बूढ़ा हो गया था, पर फ़िर भी अन्त तक पूरा जिया. आज की तस्वीरों में कुछ वर्ष पहले की छुट्टियों में सागर तट और वहाँ घूमता ब्राँदो.

Brussa, Bibione, Italia: Qualche volta alcuni luoghi si legano a specifiche persone o eventi nella nostra mente. Passiamo la maggior parte delle nostre vacanze a Bibione, al nord di Venezia, e nella mia mente Bibione è legato al nostro cane Brando. Due giorni fa abbiamo perso Brando. Era molto vecchio, ma ha vissuto bene fino all'ultimo giorno. Le immagini di oggi sono dalle nostre ferie al mare alcuni anni fa e Brando che vi girava felice.

Brando - ब्रान्दो

Bologna, Italy: The subject of today's images is our dog Brando and an abandoned field full of wild yellow flowers near our home. In last December, he has completed 18 years. Our neighbours call him the grandfather or the great grandfather of all the other dogs in our area. All his companion dogs are long gone. He has not barked for the last two or three years. He can't see or hear, and if you put him down some where, he does not move, stays there lost in his own world.

बोलोनिया, इटलीः आज की तस्वीरों का विषय है हमारा कुत्ता ब्रान्दो और हमारे घर के पास जँगली पीले फ़ूलों से भरा मैदान. पिछले दिसम्बर में ब्रान्दो ने 18 वर्ष पूरे किये. हमारे आसपास के लोग ब्रान्दो को इलाके के कुत्तों का दादा या परदादा कहते हैं. उसके साथ के सभी कुत्ते जाने कब के जा चुके. उसे भौंके हुए दो तीन साल हो गये हैं. न वह देख पाता है, न सुन पाता है और उसे कहीं छोड़ दो तो वहीं खड़ा अपनी दुनिया में खोया रहता है.

Bologna, Italia: Il soggetto delle immagini di oggi è il nostro cane Brando e un campo abbandonato pieno di fiori gialli vicino alla nostra casa. Il dicembre scorso lui ha compiuto 18 anni. I vicini lo chiamano il nonno o il bisnonno di tutti i cani della zona. Tutti gli altri cani, i suoi compagni, sono scomparsi anni fa. Lui non ha abbaiato da due o tre anni. Non può vedere o sentire e se lo lasciamo giù da qualche parte, resta fermo lì, perso nel suo mondo.
